Should I choose Icecast or SHOUTcast?
Choose Icecast unless you have a specific reason to use SHOUTcast. Icecast is the modern standard, supports more codecs (MP3, AAC, Opus), works with all major directories (TuneIn, etc.), and gives you more flexibility. We support both, but 95% of our customers use Icecast.
What happens if I exceed my listener limit?
Plans are based on concurrent listener slots. If you exceed your limit, additional listeners will queue or receive a "server full" message. We monitor usage and will contact you proactively to discuss upgrading before you consistently hit limits. We don't cut you off mid-broadcast.
Is MediaCP included with all plans?
Yes, always. MediaCP control panel with AutoDJ is included with every stream hosting plan at no extra cost. You get the full interface, not a limited version.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
